Lovely silver (.925) handmade pendant manufactured with the ancient jewellery technique known as filigrana (filigree).
This pendant shows inside an original Roman emperor Severus Alexander (222-235 AD) silver denarius minted in Rome.
The coin show the Severus Alexander laureate head right, draped bust and complete legends:
IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / P M TR P COS P P, Libertas standing left, holding pileus and cornucopiae.
