Lovely silver (.925) handmade pendant manufactured with the ancient jewellery technique known as filigrana (filigree).

This pendant shows inside an original Roman emperor Severus Alexander (222-235 AD) silver denarius minted in Rome.

The coin show the Severus Alexander laureate head right, draped bust and complete legends:

IMP SEV ALEXAND AVG, laureate bust to right /
P M TR P VIII COS III P P, Libertas standing to left, holding pileus and transverse sceptre.
