Lovely silver (.925) handmade pendant manufactured with the ancient jewellery technique known as filigrana (filigree).

This pendant shows inside an original Roman emperor Severus Alexander (222-235 AD) silver denarius minted in Rome.

The coin show the Severus Alexander laureate head right, draped bust and complete legends:

IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right.
SALVS PVBLICA. Salus seated left, feeding snake twined round altar.
RIC IV 178; C. 530.
