Lovely silver (.925) handmade pendant manufactured with the ancient jewellery technique known as filigrana (filigree).

This pendant shows inside an original Roman emperor Caracalla (198-217 AD) silver denarius minted in Rome.

The coin show the Caracalla laureate head right and complete legends:

ANTONINVS-AVGVSTVS, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla right, seen from behind /
PONTIF-TR P III, Sol standing facing, head left, nude but for chlamys over left shoulder, globe in right hand, grounded spear in left.
